Homemade Black bean veggie Burgers

Spiced up with chilies, cumin, garlic, and paprika, these quick and easy black bean burgers will make you forget all about the frozen, packaged veggie burgers. They're great on with homemade guacamole and homemade whole wheat dinner rolls.

Ingredients
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 Jalapeno
1 egg
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp cumin
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 F and lightly oil a baking sheet

2. Rinse black bean and mash them with a potato masher in a medium bowl.

3. In a food processor, add bell pepper, jalapeno, onion, and garlic. Then add the mixture to the black beans.

4. In a small bowl, stir together egg, paprika, and cumin.

5. Stir egg mixture into the mashed beans. Mix in bread crumbs until the mixture is sticky and holds together. Divide mixture into four patties.

6. Place patties on baking sheet, and baked on each side for 15 minutes.
