Samantha's Ethiopian Shiro


Ingredients
1 cup shiro powder
3 tablespoons Berbere
enough water to make a thick sauce
3 cloves garlic
1 small onion
3 tablespoons crushed tomato
1/4 cup canola oil

Directions
1. In a frying pan add oil, garlic, and onion and cook for 5 minutes

2. Add crushed tomato, shiro, and berbere and enough water to make a thick sauce.

3. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring.

4. We like to serve this on injera, with doro wat, and some lettuce, fresh tomatoes and red onion.
