Twists on banana bread

At the grocery store we picked up a good deal on nine cups of banana.  This enticed me to experiment with 3 different banana bread recipes.  Ilango was used as a blind tester. By the third recipe my imagination was going wild.  All where very good.  Ilango's favorite was the third.

Traditional Banana Bread
Ingredients
- Dry Ingredients
     1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
     2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/4 cups plus 2 tbsp sugar
- Wet Ingredients
    1/4 cups canola oil
    2 eggs
- Last Ingredients
    2 1/2 cups mashed banana
    1/2 cup walnuts
 

Banana & Cantaloupe Bread
Ingredients
- Dry Ingredients
    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1 cup white whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tbsp dark cocoa powder
    1/4 cups plus 2 tbsp sugar
- Wet Ingredients 
    1/2 cup apple sauce
    2 eggs
- Last Ingredients
    2 1/2 cups of food processed cantaloupe and banana

Spicy Cantaloupe Banana Bread
Ingredients
- Dry Ingredients 
    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    2 cup white whole wheat flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
    1 tbsp paprika
    2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
    1 tbsp splenda
    3 tbsp sugar
- Wet Ingredients
    3/4 cup apple sauce
    2 eggs
- Last Ingredients 
    3 1/2 cups of food processed cantaloupe and banana
    1/2 cup walnuts

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.  Add all dry ingredients together in small bowl.
2. Beat all wet ingredients together in a large bowl.
3. Add dry to wet ingredients. 
4. Add last ingredients. Mix until dry ingredients are moist.
5. Spray cooking spray on loaf pans.
6. Spoon batter into loaf pan.
7. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
