This is a traditional french recipe which is savory and zestful recipe.
Ingredients
21/2 cups chicken stock
20 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp canola oil
3 chicken legs
1 lemon, peeled, pits removed and thinly sliced
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2/3 cup dry white wine
freshly ground black pepper
chopped fresh parsley
3 carrots chopped
10 new potatoes
Directions
1. Put the stock in a sauce pan with garlic and potatoes. Bring to boil for 15 minutes
2. While the stock is boiling in a separate frying pan add chicken and brown both sides of the chicken in the canola oil
3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
4. Add browned chicken to an oven safe casserole dish. Add carrots and lemons. Fish out potatoes from the stock and add them to the casserole dish also.
5. Add flour to the frying pan which the chicken was browned in and stir constantly
6. Add wine and continue stiring
7. Add the chicken broth with the garlic and continue stiring. The sauce will be come thinker.
8. Next add the sauce to the casserole dish and bake for 40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked
9. Add Parsley and serve.
