Raw Banana Curry

Now this is interesting. When I first introduced her to "Raw Banana" she had this quizzical look on her moon-like face. I think I came up with an explanation about how the raw banana was actually a wild variety. I do not quite remember how my first attempt with cooking Raw Banana panned out. Actually, I think I was trying to replicate my Mom' good old Vazhakkai Kolambu. This time though I used a variety that my Mom used to cook frequently. I remember that this variety was "chubbier" than its other cousin and as it turns out, tastier.
So, Samantha and I got a bunch of these chubby raw bananas from the Global Market in Saint Louis. The ingredients to make this curry are below:

Ingredients:
1) 4 Raw Bananas - peeled and cubed
2) Patak's mild curry paste - 2 tbsp
3) Juice of 1 key lime
4) 1 Jalapeno seeded and cubed
5) Turmeric - 1 tsp
